もうすぐ１０月だ。そしてビールファンの頭によぎるイベントの一つはオクトーバーフェスト（Oktoberfest)だ！ ドイツ、ムニチで行われる１４日間のイベントで、世界的に有名なビールや活動だけでなく、有名人も参加するお祭りだ。 伝統的な言葉 "O" zapft is! （「たるは叩かれた」という意味）と言いながら、世界一大きいビール祭りは始まる。 お祭りの名前のオクトーバーフェストは実は間違いで、実際９月にお祭りが始まる事で１０月に旅行する人達を失望させるかもしれない。 今年は９月２０日に幕開けし、１０月５日に閉幕する。

だけど、がっかりしないで欲しい。 １０月はビールのお祭りだらけで、あなたの訪れる場所の近くでも開催されているかもしれない。 アメリカ在住の読者の為に、楽しみにできるアメリカン・ビール・フェスティバルがある。 ビール会社協会がスポンサーとなっているアメリカ最大のビール祭りだ。 今年はコロラド州デンバーのコロラド・コンベンションセンターで１０月９日から１１日まで開催予定となっている。

Isle of Tiree is also known as Tir-Iodh in Gaelic, which simply means the land of corn. The island is 10 miles long and 4 miles wide and is part of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. And the Lewisan gneiss is said to be 2900 million years old. In spring and summer displays a colorful scenario of beautiful flowers. It surely will take your breath away.
